Dear Just Married Officiant,
Thank you so much for offering one of my requested fandoms/ships! I am very excited for all the potential stories that you might come up with, and I'm thrilled to be taking part in this exchange with you. I hope we'll both get the marriage-related fic/art of our dreams, and also that this letter and my thoughts on these pairings/tags are helpful for you, and that the length of especially the general section isn't too overwhelming. If you have any questions/concerns/need clarification about any of it, though, please don't hesitate to ask either through the mods or by an anonymous comment on this post.
Now, onto the letter!

General Preferences
I'm not going to lie, my DNW list is pretty extensive, but hopefully you find it manageable enough. Some of these are things that seem opt-in to me anyway and I've listed them just in case; if you don't see something on the DNW list, you can safely assume that I don't mind seeing it in fic.
DO NOT WANTS
GENERAL THINGS I ENJOY
SMUT THINGS I ENJOY
MARRIAGE/WEDDING THINGS I ENJOY
There are a lot more things that belong on these likes lists, but I'll probably just leave it at this for this exchange because they're getting way too long already. And on another note: please don't be put off by the fandom-specific prompts, because I tend to get large ideas that I have difficulty narrowing down. They're more just examples of the type of things I'd like to see, and even short snippets along those lines would make me very happy.
Now: onto specific fandoms!
Person of Interest
General things that should be mentioned: I've mentioned this before in other letters, but my feelings on this show still stand: namely, that I am crazy in love with it and all its characters. Season 1 and 2 are my favorite (I just generally prefer case-of-the-week formats over longer arcs and always will) and the entire show left me with so many questions and fic ideas that I'm not sure where to even start. I love the characters and their interactions with each other, and I love how everyone is more than they seem when the situation calls for it. Reese is a whole lot kinder than he seems at first, while Finch is a whole lot darker, Fusco is a whole lot braver, Shaw is a whole lot more caring, etc. It's just so interesting to me that they all have these contradictory sides, and I like what the show did with them in the end, even if I didn't like their particular endings.
For ship-specifics:
Harold Finch/John Reese: I like this pairing for the loyalty and the bonding, the slow building trust, the teasing/flirting/snarking dialogue, the secrets, the potential. It takes no effort at all for me to believe that they really do love each other, and although Person of Interest the show was never very big about letting people move on…well, I think they could, together, if they had the chance. I want a happy ending for them more than anything, and I'm a complete sucker for all the canon-plausible (or slightly AU) reasons they might need to get hitched.
Canon pairings: I'm usually fine with canon pairings being mentioned/breaking up within the fic, but for this canon in particular, I'd prefer you avoid any and all mentions of John/Iris (I find psychologist/ex-patient to be squicky and would rather not see it.) Also, when it comes to Harold/Grace: I consider that over within the context of the canon and so I largely ignore the last few minutes of the final episode, but you can incorporate it any way you like as long as they're not actively together while Harold/John is happening.
If you decide to write smut: I prefer bottom!John, but am pretty easy about other details (and, if you'd rather not write bottom!John, I'm fine with non-penetrative sex too.) I'm not particularly interested in painplay/bondage for this pairing, though, and (on a related note) I'm also not married to any given treatment of Harold's injury and its physical effects. I will happily handwave those particulars in the name of vigorous sex.
Tags and Prompts: The tags I requested for this pairing (and their corresponding prompts) are below.
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
General things that should be mentioned: I love Star Trek: Deep Space Nine a crazy amount, and I end up requesting several pairings for it in every exchange I sign up in. I like the episode-of-the-week format of the early seasons but I also like the arc format, and I think Star Trek in general and DS9 in particular is perfect for whatever magic-y/alien explanation you need for surprise marriage shenanigans. Go wild, really!
For ship specifics:
Julian Bashir/Elim Garak: I missed the fandom when the show was airing in real time, but this pairing has been one of my favorites for years nevertheless. I greatly enjoy all their interactions (especially in the early seasons) and I find it interesting how much they clearly think about each other even when going about their regular days (Julian mentioning Garak to the ops crew like all the time, Garak quoting Shakespeare at Tain because Julian made him read it, etc.) They fit together just wonderfully as friends, which means I 100% want all the pining-friends-but-they-both-have-SECRETS-TOO fics, especially if you throw an unexpected (too good to be true? :D) marriage into the mix!
Canon pairings: I'm usually fine with canon pairings being mentioned/breaking up within the fic, and I actually rather like most of the Julian/other pairings in the show (including Julian/Ezri.) That said, I mostly pretend Garak/Ziyal didn't happen or that they were pretending to be a thing for some other reason that wasn't romantic (to make Julian & whoever Ziyal likes jealous? Sure.) You can handle that relationship anyway you want, though I'd prefer less focus on it.
If you decide to write smut: I vastly prefer bottom!Garak, but if you don't want to write that, non-penetrative sex is my preference! To that effect, I also really like xeno for this pairing, especially if Cardassians have cloacas/retractable penises or something, which makes the potential for oral sex a lot of fun.
Tags and Prompts: The tags I requested for this pairing (and their corresponding prompts) are below.
Damar/Kira Nerys: I have all the fondness for this pairing because of what it could've been (and having watched the DS9 documentary, it really could've happened!) I have a lot of love for the enemies-to-friends-to-lovers and enemies-to-lovers tropes, and it could've been truly excellent between these two, given the animosity and understandable baggage they started out with. (Also, Kira kicked his ass for him, and I like that.) Since the slow build, friendship-developing-during-war-leading-to-more route is a lot to ask of an exchange, though, I'm fine if you end a fic about any Marriage For Reasons between them with no stronger feelings than sexual attraction and grudging respect.
Canon pairings: I'm usually fine with canon pairings being mentioned/breaking up within the fic, and I like Kira/Odo and Kira/Bareil on their own merits, so time spent on those (or ignoring them) is fine with me. For Damar/his first wife, I'd prefer that that relationship be over before Damar/Kira needs to happen, but how that is handled is up to you. I generally like stories about people finding love a second time or getting a second chance at it, so it's fine for me if it's included somehow.
If you decide to write smut: They're both soldiers in pretty peak physical condition, and I rarely have ships like that, so ALL THE ATHLETIC SEX. Holding people down (probably not Kira), lifting people up, much stamina and endurance. "You were supposed to be bad at this" surprise afterglow would also be a win.
Tags and Prompts: The tags I requested for this pairing (and their corresponding prompts) are below.
Stargate Atlantis
General things that should be mentioned: I'm relatively new to Stargate Atlantis and I didn't actually expect to get into the fandom, so imagine my surprise when I hit season 4 and realized that I love Todd (unnamed for a while) a crazy amount. Alien characters are always my favorites, but I wasn't expecting a fun Wraith (no one ever expects the fun Wraith) and his presence pretty much took the show from entertaining fun to something I love in one fell swoop. I would love anything you could manage for this canon, following my prompts or not, and I'll probably add it to my list of fandoms that I request forever more too.
For ship specifics:
John Sheppard/Todd the Wraith: I don't even know where to begin with John/Todd, except that it seems obvious to me in canon that Todd has a thing for him and that John tries really hard not to return said thing, as he is weirded out by said thing. I find their interactions in the canon delightful, and while I haven't read the tie-in novels, I've osmosed that they have more reluctant life-saving and trust in there and I like that too.
Special note: While I didn't DNW DADT specifically, I'd prefer stories from this fandom/any in-fic reactions to a John/Todd marriage were a little less "GAYS, in OUR MILITARY???" and a little more "You did what? With Todd?" So, a bit more about the human-Wraith aspects than the two-men ones.
Canon pairings: I've mentioned elsewhere in this letter that I like second chances/second marriages, so if you want to include mentions of or reflections on past John/Nancy, that's fine with me! I don't know if Todd has any past relationships with anyone but I'd rather those not be mentioned if so, just because I'm not familiar with them.
If you decide to write smut: I vastly prefer bottom!Todd, but if you don't want to write that, non-penetrative sex is my preference! To that effect, I also really like xeno for this pairing, because I like Todd's alien-ness and could easily see it be expanded out. Also, I'm really curious about Todd giving head somehow, because I worry about his teeth.

DO NOT WANTS
- unrequested crossovers/fusions/AUs
- character death within the ship (canonical character death with resurrection/reversal fine)
- relationships other than the ones requested (I'm fine with canon ones being mentioned)
- unrequested poly ships or open relationships
- hurt without comfort
- dark!characters
- unhappy endings (open endings fine)
- shovel talks
- character or ship bashing
- Dom/sub
- BDSM
- soulbonds (soulmates are fine, I just don't like telepathic/empathic bonds of any kind)
- Hanahaki disease
- daddykink/mommykink/ageplay in general
- trans* or genderswapped characters
- sexualities other than heterosexual, gay/lesbian, or bisexual
- a social justice/current event focus of any kind (for example, no long discussions about the importance of consent/age of consent, no discussion of politics and the awfulness therein, etc.)
- rape/non-con
- loss of limbs or eyes/other permanent injuries
- scat
- infidelity
- breakup fic
- non-canonical nicknames or endearments OR non-canonical use of first names
- the married couple never developing romantic & sexual feelings for each other
- permanent divorce (living in different locations/separation for plot or character reasons is fine)
- crossdressing in order to get married
- the couple moving in together pre-marriage/pre-marriage domesticity (having sex/sleeping over/wanting to move in together is fine)
GENERAL THINGS I ENJOY
- pining. There are very few situations where I don't want or like pining.
- everybody lives, or at least the people in the ship do.
- a whole host of ridiculous romance tropes, including but not limited to: fake dating, arranged marriage, mistaken identity, blind dates gone wrong, jealousy/insecurity due to misunderstandings, temporary telepathy, convenient amnesia, bed sharing, sex pollen, A/B/O, identity kink, secretly pining friends-with-benefits, huddling for warmth, misheard confessions, etc. Whether I like setting change/time period change AUs depends on the fandom, but I'll note that in the fandom-specific sections.
- a ship focus. The romantic ships for these fandoms don't need to be the central focus the entire time (I also like mission fic/case fic that has more of a pre-relationship feel) but I don't really like established relationships where ships get a one-line mention at the end. My favorite type of shipfic in general is first time/get together fic, but really, as long as the ship is noticeably there throughout the story, I'm fine.
- characters who are competent in their respective roles, whether that's a sniper, farmer, werewolf, hunter, ice skater, vampire, whatever.
- characters experiencing same-sex attraction for the first time, especially if the character is over-40 and/or from a time period or setting where this is more plausible. I'm not much a fan of Only Gay For You, but I do like Didn't Realize I Was Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual Until I Realized I Had Feelings For You.
- while we're on the subject of first time attraction: also something I love for my alien/human ships. First time that alien found a human attractive, or vice versa? I'm into it.
- age differences leading to guilty "I shouldn't be attracted to this person" feelings from one or both parties, where applicable. I still don't care for power dynamics, but I am all about using an age gap as an excuse for pining/repression.
- mysteries and case fic. I know some people worry about writing mysteries because they think the villain is too obvious/not subtle enough, and I'm here to say that I don't care. I love mysteries whether I guess the ending along the way or not, and I adore case-of-the-week type canons to begin with.
- characters working hard to build trust/earn forgiveness/eventually settling their differences. It's like fictional catnip for me.
- xeno! This is pretty far down the list, considering how much I actually love it, but I really enjoy when creators take aliens and emphasize the less-human elements (in a porn way or not.) I love my lizard/buggy humanoid faves and like the ways they're not human, so by all means, go into detail.
- lots of kissing, especially when there's some contrast with the situation (didn't expect kissing at all during a sex pollening or FWB or fake marriage situation, gentle kissing between enemies, rough kissing during slow sex, etc.) I'm a sap, and I just really like kissing.
SMUT THINGS I ENJOY
- "Cock" for penis, "cunt" for vagina, and "slit" for cloacas, but feel free to use whatever you think is best for the time period/narrating character/your own preference.
- xeno! (cloacas, tentacles, knots, Todd's feeding hand, etc.)
- biting/nibbling/nuzzling. I love nuzzling into throats, it's my favorite.
- hair pulling or petting
- nice wet oral sex (and also rimming)
- partially-clothed sex, either of the "clothes pushed aside in desperation" flavor or the "one character clothed, one not" variety
- first time sex
- rough/desperate sex
- gentle sex
- handjobs/frottage
- tribadism
- nipple play (for female characters)
- anal sex (men or women receiving)
- aliens bottoming
- taller person kneeling at the feet of the standing shorter person, in a sexy using-their-mouth kind of way (oral sex, foot fetish, boot kissing, licking their stomach, whatever and etc.)
MARRIAGE/WEDDING THINGS I ENJOY
- marriages where initially only one half of the couple knows it happened. I really enjoy secret reveals, morning after reveals, one person acting weird for reasons the other person doesn't understand (because they got married and doesn't know the other person doesn't remember,) cultural misunderstandings leading to a marriage without a ceremony, etc.
- romantic feelings developing after the wedding has happened (pining is a bonus)
- established couples having a proposal misunderstanding that leads to hurt feelings before moving on to wedded bliss
- married couples with a complication (marriage isn't actually valid! amnesia! previous spouse still alive! more cultural misunderstandings! etc.)
- creative wedding ceremonies, especially when aliens are involved
- wedding nights happening For Reasons such as one character jokingly proposing sex and the other character just being DTF or the couple needing a wedding night for The Authenticity Of This Marriage
- any sort of story ranging from the proposal to the wedding to the anniversary to a wait-we're-married-since-when? reveal
- people being nervous about being a good husband/wife, before, at, or after the wedding (or reveal of a wedding/marriage)
- unexpected post-marriage intimacies
- staying married even if they have to be apart for some length of time (works great for enemies ships, ships that live in different places, ships that have to go into hiding and are separated, etc.)
There are a lot more things that belong on these likes lists, but I'll probably just leave it at this for this exchange because they're getting way too long already. And on another note: please don't be put off by the fandom-specific prompts, because I tend to get large ideas that I have difficulty narrowing down. I will happily handwave those particulars in the name of vigorous sex.
Tags and Prompts: The tags I requested for this pairing (and their corresponding prompts) are below.
- Algorithmic selected marriage
This is a delightful tag for the Machine interfering, and I'd find it hilarious if one day Harold discovered that the Machine has been marrying every single one of his and John's aliases to each other. (Details I'd love here: seeing which alias got paired with which and why, and how long some of these couples have supposedly been married.) Subtle hint it is not. - Arranged Marriage Contract Bought Out By Someone Else OR Person's Hand In Marriage Auctioned Off To Highest Bidder
I'd love a story where Harold somehow manages to buy John's hand in marriage, especially if he doesn't know that's what he's doing (he thought it was his CIA service contract! Honest!) or if he's never met John in person. Alternately, it's closer to the canon setting and everyone thought the contract had expired and it wouldn't come up, but it does and Harold Finch swoops in for the rescue. I'd prefer a universe where arranged marriages are a commonplace thing in either case. - Future Arranged Spouses are Forbidden To Meet But Able To Study One Another's Hobbies
I love arranged marriages (you can undoubtedly tell) and I love that punch of the first meeting, they-weren't-supposed-to-be-hot feelings on top of feelings that were already developing from correspondence or other reasons. For this tag, I'd love to see something where the age difference between the two comes into play, where Harold is already smart for his age even as a teenager and he has little interest in this kid he's betrothed to, and then life happens and he realizes he judged him too harshly. Bonus if Harold's hobbies are computers and books while John's are languages and cooking. - Marriage Arranged Because of Matching Soulmarks OR Marriage Arranged By Professional Matchmaker
Harold Finch doesn't have time to find a relationship for himself, so he uses a service. He didn't expect to actually find a match (maybe he's tried before and come up empty, possibly because John's soulmark was deleted from the record for CIA reasons?) and now he doesn't know what to do about this marriage that's happening. (Though obviously he wants John the second he meets him.) - Proposal misunderstood as being for ulterior motives
I'm picturing a scenario where, after a near death experience or an injury, John just lets the proposal slip out. Harold, of course, assumes that he's trying to poke into his life and secrets more than he already has (maybe they've even been sleeping together up to this point?) and shoots him down flat. Ouch. - True Love's Kiss automatically becomes a binding marriage
In a world where True Love's Kiss exists, things like surprise kisses, CPR, secret kisses, accidental kisses, etc. have got to be really inconvenient. Also, I'd bet that kissing is considered a more significant thing in this universe, where people don't do it unless they're already prepared for a possible marriage to result. So, the kiss happening either early in their relationship for some reason or it happening because one or the other wants to be married but sort of doesn't hope for True Love would be perfect. - Truth serum induces unexpected proposal
I would love it if the truth serumed person just throws that proposal in there amidst a general wave of love feelings that they're already spouting out. The none-serumed person knows that their partner isn't acting like themselves, but they also want so badly to believe they meant it (but aren't going to bring it up, of course not.)
- Both Spouses Are In Love But Believe The Other Is In The Marriage Out Of Obligation
- Fake Marriage Results in Surprise Real Feelings
- Forced Marriage Leads to Genuine Feelings
- Keeping One's True/Secret Identity from One's Spouse
- Marriage to get spouse out of or keep spouse out of jail
- Married by letter
- Mistaken For Married
- Mutual Not-Actually-Unrequited Pining for Spouse
- Real Wedding Night for Fake Marriage
- Undercover as Married While Mutually Pining
- 2 people who weren't romantically involved get together after meeting the AU married couple version
This is one of my favorite get-together prompts in this tagset, and I think it's self-explanatory. Some Julian/Garak from another universe shows up (please not the Mirror Universe) and it causes a surprise! Feelings! Revelation! - Always Married to Same Person When You Dream
Such a nice romantic prompt, and I'd especially like it if it's Julian who's having the dreams and they happened before they even met. "Frontier medicine," bah—maybe Julian wanted to go to DS9 in the hopes of meeting his Cardassian. ♥ - Consciousness Time Travels into Future with Surprising Marriage Partner
This is one of my favorite sci-fi get together prompts, because it has so much "I never saw them like that, but…maybe?" potential about it. Always fun when it ends in a get together, and it's especially fun to explore why the partner is surprising—unexpected species/gender/person in general? All fun! - Getting Married to Extend Legal Rights/Protections to Partner
This tag would be perfect for something set during the Dominion War, because Cardassians aren't stupid and surely they figure out that someone is breaking their codes. Trying to get Garak back into Cardassian custody goes wrong, though, because they can't just snatch a Federation-by-marriage citizen. Alternately, Garak's under suspicion for being a double-agent when he's helping the Federation out, and Bashir falls on that grenade so they can't extradite him or throw him in a penal colony or something. - Married by letter
This is such a lovely tag and it works so perfectly for these two, since they already exchange letters post canon! They somehow manage to take it one step further and get married that way, and then reunite at some point for their wedding night/wedded bliss. ♥ - Married for the Tax Benefits
This tag is hilarious to me, considering Garak once claimed he was exiled for failure to pay his taxes. What if that was actually true? - Mistaken For Married
I love this tag, because I love all that arguing-is-Cardassian-flirting stuff. What, in this case, looks like Cardassian marriage? Is it just the way Garak is looking at him, or the way Julian is smiling, or how they gravitate towards each other? Endless possibilities. (And then angst, because maybe they both want it to be true but it isn't.) - Person Mistaken For Mail-Order Spouse and Goes With It
This is the funniest tag to me, and it's such a Garak tag. I don't know how the mistake happens or why Julian thinks he's marrying a Cardassian, but Garak being "sure, why not?" about it would amuse me to no end. Feel free to use any AU you need to make this plausible, so long as Garak is still a Cardassian. - Time travel - meeting spouse's younger self
This is a delightful tag, and I'd love either the version where Julian meets still-a-spy!Garak or Garak meets teenager!Julian. I picture both younger versions as being more closed off emotionally, and I'd enjoy a story where the person who travels back in time puts effort into convincing the younger version of their spouse that the relationship will be worth it (I especially like this for Garak, who I imagine is just so grateful for Julian and teen!Julian isn't used to people knowing him.) No sex for either case, please. - Trapped In Fake Perfect World That Includes Marriage They Don't Believe They Can Ever Really Have
This is something I mainly want to inflict on Garak, because I like the idea of him thinking "what if?" about a relationship with Bashir and then deciding not to go for it because it could never possibly work out. If you want Julian instead, though, I imagine his enhancements would come up, where he doesn't assume anyone would really want him if they knew (and this is especially good if he hadn't considered Garak a possibility up to that point, but the "marriage" is just so perfect that he kicks himself for the oversight.) - True Love's Kiss automatically becomes a binding marriage
This is one of those tags that I've requested in several requests, and it's because I love it. For Star Trek, though, I like the idea of it being an alien culture thing rather than just a magical thing, so there's some question of how it happened and if it's actually bindingwhile everyone deliberately avoids talking about the True Love part.

I like inflicting this tag on my ships, and I'd really like for the Kira/Damar version to have them still being stubborn about it even after the AU couple goes back home. "They're clearly too different from us," they think while they take their sweet time actually getting together. - Always Married to Same Person When You Dream
Like with the Garak/Bashir version, I'd love it if this was something that started happening pre-canon when Kira is completely horrified by something that must seem like nightmares to her. Actually meeting Damar doesn't help, and she does everything in her power to make sure those dreams don't come true. (She either changes her mind or succeeds, because Damar dies.) - Amnesia Makes Person Forget Their Marriage
THIS IS A WONDERFUL TAG. Can you imagine, after Kira/Damar put in all this work to put aside their differences and become friends and eventually marry, if one of them just forgot all of that? How painful that would be for the other half of the couple, because not only is the marriage forgotten, their spouse doesn't even remember liking them. - Consciousness Time Travels into Future with Surprising Marriage Partner
Still a quality tag, for much the same reasons as " Always Married to Same Person When You Dream." I'd be curious about Damar's perspective on this one, though, especially if it's relatively early in his show appearance and he's still ra-ra-Cardassian! - Marriage Arranged Because of Matching Soulmarks
They'd both hate it so much, and it's up to you how it comes about. What is the situation in the universe that soulmark marriages are arranged? Are they considered rare or extra special somehow? Are they especially rare when between different species? - Marriage to cure sex pollen
This is a great "marriage of necessity" tag, and it's something that could happen while the rebellion is actually taking place. Kira gets sex pollened and Odo isn't around, and so this strictly marriage-in-name situation happens. It doesn't work out quite as planned. - mutually beneficial arranged marriage that turns to deep love OR political marriage in which they try to kill each other until they fall in love OR Political marriage to enemy that turns to love
These are pretty self-explanatory, I think, but they're all tags I love. I like political arranged marriages full of intrigue between people who don't like each other, especially if that animosity eventually fades. - Resurrection Ritual Requires Marriage
Damar dies, and somehow some ritual come up (maybe it's not something that can be performed more once in a thousand years or something) that Kira finds out about. She decides to take one for the team because Cardassia is in a state of civil unrest post-canon, and that affects everybody. Having their leader back might help, even if it comes with a stipulation in the form of a Bajoran spouse.

Tags and Prompts: The tags I requested for this pairing (and their corresponding prompts) are below.
- 2 people who weren't romantically involved get together after meeting the AU married couple version
Third time's the charm! I don't have much to say about this one except that I would love if the married version came from Rod's universe (so, snooty Mensa!John and whatever fluffier version of Todd exists over there) - Accidental Marriage due to Misunderstanding the Norms of Another Culture
There are many different ways I could see this tag working, but I love the idea that Wraith-marriage just happens when you save someone X number of times (Wraith being Wraith, it's probably rare.) You could swing it to mean that Infection wasn't just Todd asking for help, but him knowing that John helping him this time would mean marriage and so it's functionally a proposal too. He is thus confused when he shows up again in the final episode and John a) isn't happy to see him and b) isn't DTF. :( - Alien Artifact Creates Marriage
Those ancient artifacts, am I right? Maybe Team Atlantis stumbles upon a place where the Wraith and Ancients actually co-exist somehow, and touching a shrine or whatever does this. It's just John's bad luck that it found Todd wherever he happened to be (because the shrine, of course, will find the most compatible Wraith.) - Bringing someone back to life constitutes marriage OR Marriage to Satisfy Life-Debt / Life-Debt is Considered Marriage
The Gift of Life is a gift that keeps on giving! Maybe the marriage part is only supposed to kick in when the GoL happens between Wraiths, but Todd is weird like that. Also, I love that second tag because of exactly how annoyed he sounds in Common Ground when he says "I merely repaid the debt." Todd knowing that they're now Wraith-married and then just not mentioning it until a year or more later is amazing. - Character Entering Into M/M Marriage Invents Mpreg In Hopes Of Pleasing Their Spouse With An Heir
I mentioned this in my Unusual Bearings letter, but I'm delighted by the idea that Wraith consider increasing their numbers to be a win always and so assume humans feel the same. Also: for this tag, please only pregnant!Todd or some more scientificky explanation that doesn't require either of them actually being pregnant. - Character fantasizes about getting married
I like this tag for the assumption that maybe Wraith don't have a marriage equivalent, but when Todd understands what the idea means to humans, he…kind of wants it with John. - Former Enemies Marry The Moment They're No Longer Enemies
Nothing is ever easy for John/Todd, and I chose this tag so they can have some easy. Years down the line, maybe Atlantis finally has their no-feeding serum worked out and Todd and a small group of Wraith take it and switch sides. John and Todd have had feelings for each other for a while now, and now that it's a possibility, they decide what the hell, let's do this thing. - Marriage to get spouse out of or keep spouse out of jail OR Marrying an Enemy to Keep Them Close
These are good tags for a situation where the marriage is enforced by Todd being on Earth and John trying to save his life, maybe with a little ulterior motives mixed in. - Xenobiology requires marriage to protect spouse from death/illness
I have no real ideas for this, except that I love John reluctantly-but-not-really stepping up to save Todd's life when this tag kicks in.
